Stefanie Guerrero is a Mexican-American artist living in Ridgewood, Queens.
Primarily focused on clay, she thinks of the process itself as an exploration of form, and color, and testing the developing stages of clay as a receptive, sculptural material. Her sculptures take shape by exploring the fragility and vulnerability of various life forms that constantly adapt and change to new environments to survive—learning to embrace the transience of our identity.
